Memorial Weekend Featuring Eddie Elliott

Starting this Friday, Memorial holiday weekend represents the "official" start of summer.  You can't relax any better than at Live Oak Resort, where you can lounge by the pool, dance the night away in Club Larry, and let your inhibitions run wild.

As a special surprise, we're proud to bring you Eddie Elliott in concert, poolside, 2 pm May 24th. Eddie Elliott is a brilliant singer, songwriter, guitarist and a magnetic stage performer. Elliott has shared the stage with such seasoned performers as Junior Brown, Shawn Mullins, Dave Wilcox, John Gorka and Richie Havens. Coming back from last summer's coast-to-coast concert tour series, Eddie is gearing up again for a super concert season. Elliott's fourth CD, "Without Blue," is an all-new collection of songs that you're sure to love.  We're sure he'll play selections from all 4 of his CDs - "Just Flows," "Moving," "This Time," and "Without Blue."  Listen to a few clips at MySpace, or just come on out.  Let us hear back from you - tell us if you'd like to have a "Live Oak Concert Series" - and we'll see what we can do!

If you're the competitive type and enjoy a challenge, then you don't want to miss this fun filled weekend. If you're more the laid back type, then you'll love this weekend too as you watch your friends compete to be the sole survivor! Each year it's hard to tell who has more fun - the participants or audience! Come have some fun in the sun as you and your friends compete for this year's title of Live Oak Survivor!

Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Bikini

Who has the smallest (er.... bikini)???  Come see and participate! (Guys  - have the guts to wear a bikini also?  Door's wide open!).  Live Oak Resort hosts the "Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Bikini Contest" during the weekend of June 26-28, 2009.  Be there!
