Memorial Weekend Wrap-up

This Memorial Weekend was the largest one we've ever had, thanks to all of you!  Around 400 attended, and fortunately the weather held up pretty well.  Except of course, when it came to the poolside concert by Eddie Elliott and his brother, Dominic.  With the quick help of the crew, we fixed Eddie up in Club Larry, and things worked out excellently!  Thanks so much for putting on a great show, guys!  With songs like Without Blue, Sweet Sister and Halfway There, the audience just loved his style.  We look forward to another great performance!  Let us know your personal reviews by completing a survey - maybe you'll win a free night's stay!  Of course, we'd also like to hear your thoughts on a Live Oak Concert Series.  Again, thanks, Eddie, and we'll see you soon!!!

Survivor Weekend

Eight Teams, Eight Games, One Survivor.   Will it be you?

If you're the competitive type and enjoy a challenge, then you don't want to miss this fun filled weekend. If you're more the laid back type, then you'll love this weekend too as you watch your friends compete to be the sole survivor! Each year it's hard to tell who has more fun - the participants or audience! Come have some fun in the sun as you and your friends compete for this year's title of Live Oak Survivor!

Sign up is Friday night, June 12 at 7:30 in Bare Delites Restaurant.  If you can't make it then, please be at the poolside BEFORE 10:00 Saturday morning, and we'll try to fit you in on a team.  Good luck, and may the best one survive!

Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Bikini

Who has the smallest (er.... bikini)???  Come see and participate! (Guys  - have the guts to wear a bikini also?  Door's wide open!).  Live Oak Resort hosts the "Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Bikini Contest" during the weekend of June 26-28, 2009.  Be there!
