Sadie Hawkins Weekend:  June 25 - 27

An American folk event, Sadie Hawkins Day is a pseudo-holiday that originated in Al Capp's classic hillbilly comic strip, Li'l Abner (1934 to 1977). The event is still observed in the form of dances at which girls approach (or chase after) boys.  We'll start off the day with our Sexy, Steamy Scavenger Hunt by the pool.  Just where are you going to find what you're looking for?  Hmmm......  Saturday night - guys, get ready, as the women are going to be chasing after you!  Will you comply with their wishes?  We'll see! 

Here's the deal on the Scavenger Hunt:

• It starts at 11:00am at the office.

• Teams will be made of 4 players. If you already know your team, bring ALL of them with you at 11:00.  If you need to be on a team, we'll assign you one at that time.

• There will be items to find, riddles with items to find as well as riddles with just answers to be made.

• Prizes will be awarded!!!

Independence Weekend:  July 2 - 5

Declare your independence! Strip down, sunbathe and see how free life really is when you come to Live Oak Resort! You can simply relax, or participate in the many activities we have planned for Independence Weekend!  Watch the traditional "lighting of the sky" when Larry sets off the fireworks Saturday evening at "Dark-Thirty."  Then go back and light up your own fireworks in your cabin, your friends RV or wherever the urge takes you!  Reserve a spot today!

Remember, at 2pm on Saturday, our traditional, Decorated Golf Cart Parade starts up at the office for our judges to review.  Please be prompt at the starting line.

Hedo Wet, Wild 'n Wicked:  July 29 - August 1
