You're stressed all week working your career
The boss on your back, but the weekend is here
You head for Navasota, then to Lone Star Road
To Live Oak Resort to your second abode
Where you take off your clothes and you
can go nude
Or keep something on if you are a prude
No matter how you dress, forget your troubles and cares
You can relax and enjoy it in the open air
Larry is the owner and the boss we all
know,
But if you need something fast, to Jennifer you go.
Larry's the first to tell you that he'll forget
And if you ask too often, well, he might just throw a fit.
Reserve you a space in advance without
fail
'Cause you don't want to come and have to beg to Danielle
She'll give you a spot that you'll like if you're nice
And ask you at check out, "did you buy some ice?"
They have volleyball you can play in the
buff
Ping pong and darts and other stuff
Sometimes on Fridays they have Karaoke
You can sing if you want, or just listen to Dodi
They have shuffleboard where you shove
the puck
You might even win if you have some luck
The game is competitive, sometimes it gets hairy
And you probably will never beat Janet or Jerry
The Saturday night dance has a line at
the door,
Larry unlocks promptly at 9:04
It smells like a picture show, but popcorn's free.
And there's plenty of ice for your Long Island Tea.
You can dance privately, or if you're
kinda bold,
You can dance in the cage, or dance on the pole.
You can dance in the buff or dance in your clothes,
But by the end of the night you might get out of those.
If you want a special song, better get in
cahoots,
With the smiling DJ they call Canute.
He grins and bounces to the beat of the song,
He talks kinda funny, but his selections aren't wrong.
It's Lifestyle friendly for you and your
spouse,
You might swing with a couple or rent the Miller house.
But many don't swing and there's plenty of fun
You can party at the pool or soak up the sun
The hot tub's so hot it'll roast your
tools,
It'll make you jump into the freezing swimming pool.
You don't need floaties, just relax and be frugal,
There's plenty of smooth or rough furnished noodles.
Certain times of the year you keep a lid
on your mug
Unless you don't mind a cup of ugly lovebugs.
The tree worms are there and so are flying ants
And it's better to be nude than have them in your pants.
But hey, it's in the country, it's not a
city place
Forget the city life, forget the rat race
Relax and camp out under the stars
You're right at home, here at LOR.
