Poodle
skirts, peddle pushers and penny loafers were the "in-thing" on August
21, when Live Oak Resort hosted its annual Sock Hop and Car Show.
Though rain held some guests back, over 100 very happy people showed up
to bask by the pool then "party 'til it's 1999" (ok 2005) in Club Larry.
Yes, I must admit, even I stayed up until the sky turned a pale shade of
morning...
Three cars competed this year -
- 1st place: Ford
- 2nd place: Mustang
- 3rd place: Corvette
